Student Robbery Suspect Might Avoid Jail Time

Oct 20, 2011

An 18-year-old man pleaded guilty on Wednesday to pulling a gun on a fellow student in a boys’ bathroom at Christian County High School. In return, the commonwealth’s attorney is offering him a chance to avoid prison time and get the criminal charges cleared from his record. Kevon Burrus attended CCHS as of Oct. 1, 2010, according to court records. He was 17 at the time, and a detective said Burrus went by the nickname “K-Money.” Court records show he had several criminal charges as a juvenile.
