Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes, in her capacity as chair of the State Board of Elections and the Kentucky Election Integrity Task Force, continues monitoring compliance with the state's election laws.
By noon EST today, the State Board had fielded 65 inquiries regarding the election, including procedural questions, electioneering complaints and allegations of vote fraud and vote buying.
The calls came from Adair, Casey, Bell, Jefferson, Knox, Meade, Oldham, Clinton, Kenton, Bullitt, Franklin, Hardin, Pike, Christian, Fayette, Grayson, Cumberland, Boone, Madison, Campbell, Jessamine, Letcher, Rowan, McCracken, Bourbon, Clark, Woodford, Grant, Whitley and Boyle counties. Some counties had more than one inquiry, Grimes said in a news release.
“Voters are the frontlines in protecting election integrity,” Grimes said, “and I encourage anyone who witnesses questionable election-related activity to contact the State Board at 800-246-1399.”
