Prebate: A WEKU Reporters Roundtable
Just hours before next Thursday’s vice presidential debate, top journalists, both national and international, gather to discuss the campaign. This WEKU special broadcast comes live from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky; the venue for the October 11 meeting of Representative Paul Ryan and Vice President Joe Biden.
Before a live audience at the historic Old Centre Building, panelists will preview the debate, discuss the characters of the candidates, and their political role.
Joining WEKU host John Hingsbergen are NPR National Political Correspondent Don Gonyea, BBC Washington Bureau Chief Simon Wilson, McClatchy White House Correspondent Lesley Clark, and Huffington Post blogger and political scientist Benjamin Knoll, of Centre College.
The hour-long Reporters Roundtable begins Thursday, October 11 at 11:00am, and repeats at 8:00 that evening. Also on WEKU Thursday evening, a live broadcast from NPR of the vice presidential debate.
