With the presidential preliminaries decided and relative few competitive races on the ballot, Kentucky today saw what’s been described as an abysmal turnout. About 90% skipped the election. Besides presidential candidates, the ballot included candidates for commonwealth’s attorney, the state legislature, the state senate, the courts, and congress. WEKU will carry updates on the vote count throughout the evening and offer a full report tomorrow during Morning Edition.
