There will soon be more ways to spend those billions of game-playing hours, courtesy of MTV Networks Entertainment. The company is starting up a videogame division to produce titles based on its shows, from Spike TV to Comedy Central. The first one is based on the show "Deadliest Warrior."

(Soundbite of videogame, "Deadliest Warrior")

Unidentified Man #1: A virtual face-off between two of the greatest warriors ever known: A Samurai versus a Viking.

MONTAGNE: Okay, you decide if it's frivolous or not. Come this August, MTV will release its second game, "Ugly Americans: Apocalypsegeddon."
