March Madness Across Kentucky

Mar 18, 2013

Men’s March Madness on the basketball court officially starts Tuesday, but Sunday night’s NC double A selections certainly set the stage for the next few weeks.  Kentucky schools found out last night who they play in three different post season tournaments.  The University of Louisville is the overall number one seed in the NC double A tournament.  The Cardinals Thursday take on the winner of Liberty-North Carolina A and T play-in game.

Western Kentucky University faces the tall task of going up against number one seeded Kansas Friday night.  Also announced last night, the University of Kentucky is playing in the National Invitational Tournament.  UK travels to Pittsburg Tuesday to take on Robert Morris in a first round game.  And the Eastern Kentucky University Colonels head to North Carolina to battle Gardner Webb University in the College Insider Dot Com Postseason Tournament.  That game is also Tuesday night.
