More than 123,000 Kentuckians are now enrolled in new health coverage through the state’s health exchange website, Kynect. State officials report that, since open enrollment began on Oct. 1, the website has enrolled an average of 1,300 Kentuckians in new health coverage each day.
Despite problems with the federal government’s website, Kentucky’s system has been hailed as a national model. On the next Eastern Standard, we'll discuss Kynect, how it works and how Kentuckians can make the best use of it. Guests: Carrie Banahan, Executive Director of the Office of the Kentucky Health Benefit Exchange; Rep. Robert Robert Benvenuti, House District 88.
