Hopkins Factory to Receive Tax Incentive

Gov. Steve Beshear plans to announce a $3 million tax incentive today that will enable Carhartt to upgrade equipment and add jobs to its distribution center in Hanson. Carhartt has hired 225 workers in the past two years, increasing the company’s total number of workers in Hanson up to 675.
