When Carol Gard, a polling official at Bowling Green Junior High School, arrived at the school at 6 a.m. today to open the polls, a line of people waiting to vote had already formed. “There hasn’t been much downtime,” Gard said a few hours after polls opened. “It’s been constant.” She’s worked as a polling official for years, and presidential elections are always the busiest, she said.
