Feedback: Trouble Listening on Kindle, Sorry to Lose The Story
Listener Connie emailed us over the weekend, “I used to listen to WEKU on my Kindle, but haven't recently. When I tried yesterday, although I tapped every link titled "Listen live," I never was successful. My husband is doing just fine with his iPhone. I'd appreciate some direction on what I should do.”
We’re working with the service that provides our web streams to find out what may be going on there. Meanwhile, if anyone else is using a Kindle to listen, we’d be interested in knowing how it’s working for you.
Karen, from Corbin, checked in to let us know about an audio break-up in the signal from 88-5 WEKF. Our engineer Bill Browning was able to fix that specific problem within hours of Karen’s note. There are a couple of other things going on with that signal so, if you listen via 88-5, please let us know ASAP.
On the Listener Comment Line, a caller from Frankfort, choosing to remain anonymous, expressed regret that The Story was going away and also requested that we bring On Being back to 6:00 on Sunday evenings. Regarding The Story, for those who did not know, the show has been discontinued due to the retirement of its creator and host Dick Gordon.
We also had a call from Francis, “My husband, William and I enjoy your station very very much. We live in Danville and don’t change anything on it. We listen to it all day. Thank you.”
