Feedback on Q, Saturday Coverage of President Obama

Jul 11, 2016

Trevor, from Corbin emailed us,  “I enjoy Morning Edition, BBC News Hour, On Point, Here and Now, All Things Considered, The World and almost every other program you guys offer, but I have to be honest... I hate Q. "

We’re always interested in your feedback. Write to us at: WEKU@eku.edu, post on Facebook or send a tweet @889weku or leave a voice message at 859-622-1657.

Trevor continues, "I can't think of very many people in this area who would have any interest whatsoever in the influence of folk music on an obscure musical talent from another country. In my opinion, the topics on that show are either A) boring, B) silly, C) pretentious or D) all of the above.”

Here’s a call following our Saturday afternoon “live” coverage of President Obama’s news conference from Poland, “I wanted to thank NPR and WEKU for running the president’s address from Warsaw, the full address.  Very often we’re inundated with brief synopses of things that aren’t always helpful.

Getting to hear his measured tones and thought processes in a complete way is extremely helpful and I really appreciate the opportunity to get that and that we live in a country where that type of information has an outlet.”
