Feedback: Listeners Like The Moth Radio Hour, Eastern Standard

Dec 21, 2015

From the WEKU Listener Comment Line, “It has made me laugh and it has made me cry.”  This listener, choosing to remain anonymous, says The Moth Radio Hour is “the most wonderful radio show” he’s ever listened to. “Hopefully, one day you can extend it longer than an hour because an hour is just not enough. I really, really like it,” he says.”

On Facebook, Mary June commented on this past week’s Eastern Standard featuring a reporters’ roundtable discussing the news of 2015.  She wrote, “A splendid program! I always enjoy every one of them. Keep up the great work!”

Listeners are continuing to respond to our requests for support before the end of the year and many of them are making comments with their donations.  Such as this one from Susan, from Lexington, “WEKU is such a big part of my life, morning, noon and night. I am informed and enlightened by your presentations and commentary daily. Please keep doing what you do!.

Verity writes, “Our family loves listening to WEKU and NPR from Chalfont St. Peter in Buckingham England and right here in Lexington, Kentucky.”

Chickie, from Lexington, came on board as a new sustaining member, saying, “Love the BBC wake up at 4am. (I) enjoy (the) all day programming with limited music.”

Emily identifies herself as from Indianapolis, but “has come to like WEKU programming better.”

We’re interested in your feedback.  Send it by email to WEKU@eku.edu.  Leave your voicemail message at 859-622-1657.  Post on Facebook.  Post on the website or send us a tweet @889weku.
