Feedback: Lexington Listener Switched to WEKU, Another Loves the Music
We had a nice note by email from listener Pat, “I used to support WUKY until I recently learned that your station has a lot more news programs on all during the day. Consequently, I am now financially supporting YOUR station. You are now a regular expense in my annual budget.”
Pat suggested we consider adding the Diane Rehm Show to our line-up but adds, “I am very pleased with the wide variety of programs that you offer. I listen to almost every one of them. One I hadn't heard before listening to WEKU is "On Being." Interesting. I also really enjoy "America's Test Kitchen."
Here’s a call from a listener to our music programming, assuming the comment refers at least in part to our sister station, Classic 102.1 but we do, of course, carry a large amount of classical music on all of our stations.
Caller: "Lexington is in great need of such a station. In fact, all over the country is in great need of classical music. I being a classical artist myself, in retirement, appreciate that and just want you to continue keeping up the good work."
