Leonard wrote, “Just wanted to inform you, incase you were not aware, that your station is missing from the NPR App from the list of stations. I would prefer listening through the app instead of finding the website because once the phone goes into standby mode, the website will stop streaming while the NPR App on iPhone will continue to stream whatever is planing. Please fix this by adding your station to the NPR App to make for an easy listening experience.”
We had many comments about both our stations during the end-of-year fund drive that ended Saturday, including this typical remark from Jane from Richmond, “WEKU is my go-to source for news and all things political, thought provoking, entertaining, and inspirational.”
Becky, of Lexington, is a fan of the station and a proud mother, “Saturday afternoon programs are the best especially This American Life. I've always loved this show. Now I have even more reason to support the show because my son is a producer on the show.”
Sara told us, “I love almost all you do (but will say "Ask Me Another" should go--it's possibly the lamest show on public radio). But I LOVE WEKU! Even "Listener Feedback" is surprisingly engaging.”
Whether it’s a fund drive or not, we’re always grateful for your feedback. Write to us at WEKU at edu dot edu or call 859-622-1657. You can also post on the WEKU Facebook page or send a tweet @889weku.
Then tune in again next Monday at 6:31 and 8:31 am and 5:33 pm for Listener Feedback on 88-9 WEKU.
