Feedback About Craig Windham, Repeating Program, Request to Stop Airing Feedback

Mar 7, 2016

Dozens of listeners posted on Facebook or Twitter in reaction to the news of the passing of NPR newsman Craig Windham.

Write to us at: WEKU@eku.edu, post on Facebook or send a tweet @889weku or leave a voice message at 859-622-1657.

Meg tweeted, “I’ll miss Craig reading the news in the morning. #RIPCraig.”

Rebecca commented on Facebook, “So sad to hear this.”

We’ve had a number of contacts regarding an apparent problem with one of the programs on our sister station, Classic 102.1. We’re told that the Sunday afternoon program Classical Guitar Alive has been repeating for a number of weeks.  We apologize for that and will check it out and…most importantly…get it fixed.

Thanks to the listeners who let us know.

Here’s a comment sent to us by Facebook from listener Hugh, “Please consider suspending airing comments made by listeners. I've listened to these petty inane and ridiculous comments and conclude that in airing them you only enable the moronic listenership to complain about meaningless issues and embarrass themselves on your station. It demeans you and them.”

We’re always interested in your feedback.  Write to us at: WEKU@eku.edu, post on Facebook or send a tweet @889weku or leave a voice message at 859-622-1657.

Then tune in for Listener Feedback again next Monday morning at 6:49 or 8:49 or at 5:330 in the afternoon during All Things Considered on 88-9 WEKU.
