We're friends, right? Then you should know something... NPR recently launched new Facebook apps, called I Heart NPR, and we're pretty excited about it.

The fun starts with an interactive map of NPR stations and fans, then continues with quizzes. One asks trivia based on audio clips from NPR stories. Some of the answers might surprise you.

Check out what's in store for you on Facebook.

Let's map it out, people!
Nearly 34 millions people tune to public radio stations each week, and we thought it'd be fun to 'see' NPR fans throughout the country. So, we encourage you put yourself on the map of NPR lovers and invite your friends to do the same.

This is not a test... just a quiz
Once you're on the map, take a quiz. Share your score (measured in totebags, of course) on your wall and see how your friends' knowledge of NPR compare. Two quizzes are currently available – Name That Theme Song & Audio Trivia – but once we get 100,000 people on the map, we'll release another one... and there are more in development. If this proves to be as popular as we hope it'll be, we'll provide you with more Facebook fun in the future.

Learn more before logging onto Facebook. Spread the word – and the love – by sharing I Heart NPR with your friends.

Oh, and if you tweet about it, tag it with #gopublic – thanks!
