EKU Loses Battle Against Illinois

The Eastern Kentucky University Colonels have fallen from the ranks of the undefeated, but not without a battle.  Eastern trailed number ten Illinois by four points at the ten minute mark, but the Fighting Illini pulled away the last few minutes to win 66-53 at Assembly Hall.  Illinois remains undefeated.  E-K-U now carries a nine and one mark into a Wednesday night contest at North Carolina A and T.

  The University of Kentucky easily rolled over Lipscomb 88 to 50 Saturday.  UK completes a five game homestand  by entertaining Marshall Saturday.  The University of Louisville handed Memphis a nine point loss over the weekend.  U of L comes home to take on Florida International Tuesday night.
