Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway talked Tuesday to students at Bowling Green's Greenwood High School about the state’s growing problem with prescription drug abuse as part of his “Keep Kentucky Kids Safe” awareness and prevention initiative. More people are now killed by prescription drug abuse than by car accidents in Kentucky, Conway said. About 1,000 Kentuckians died in 2009 because of prescription drugs, which is twice as many as a decade ago.
