Clark Co.Distribution Center Creates 12 Jobs

WINCHESTER – Community leaders and officials from Senko USA celebrated the grand opening Monday of the company’s new distribution center in Clark County. The facility represents a capital investment by the company in excess of $4.8 million to date and will create 12 new jobs in the community by the end of the year.

Senko USA selected Winchester as the site of its new 68,400 square-foot warehouse distribution center, which sits on 14.6 acres along I-64 and I-75, because of its proximity to clients. The site also offers the company room for future growth. The worldwide logistics company, headquartered in Japan, offers a wide array of value-added services that include trucking, intermodal and warehousing.

The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority preliminarily approved Senko USA for tax incentives up to $250,000 through the Kentucky Business Investment program.
