DAVID GREENE, host:

Good morning. I'm David Greene with an update on a carjacking in Queens. A New York man left his sons and his poodle in the van and ran into a store. That, according to the New York Post, is when a thief drove off with the vehicle. He was no match for the poodle, who kept yapping in the front seat. Oh, and one of the kids scolded the man when he reached for the change tray. The man asked for the kids' address and he took them home. Trying to sound tough, he said he really would've stolen that car had it been empty.
