INSKEEP: Today, Honda said its earnings will likely drop more than 60 percent this year. That's after Japan's earthquake and tsunami disrupted supplies and caused a parts shortage, which led to a big drop in sales. The strong yen is not helping, either. It's eating into profits. Honda says production in Japan will return to normal by the end of this month, and it is hoping to deliver more vehicles to make up for lost time. Transcript provided by NPR, Copyright NPR.
