Attack Ads Begin in North Kentucky's 4th District
The first ad attack in Kentucky's Fourth Congressional District Republican primary is hitting the airwaves to contrast the political backgrounds of two candidates. Boone County Judge-Executive Gary Moore released the ad district-wide Tuesday, attacking Lewis County Judge Executive Thomas Massie for increasing spending in his local budget and high unemployment.
Massie was elected as judge-executive in 2010. Moore contrasts that by saying he has helped his county financially, giving it one of the best credit ratings in the state and low unemployment. The ad is the first attack ad of the primary cycle in the congressional primary. Watch the ad below:
Moore and Massie are considered the frontrunners with state Rep. Alecia Webb-Edgington. A phone call has been placed to Massie for reaction to the ad.
