NWS surveyors Rick Shanklin and Ken Ludington were on site Monday, and found that the tornado touched down at 11:03 p.m. Sunday at Hazel and traveled 5.6 miles to northeast of New Providence. The Joneses set the previous record for the United Way&rsquo;s largest individual donation last December when they contributed $50,000 to the fundraising campaign. This week, they topped that considerably with a donation of $140,000 &ndash; half of the overall goal of $280,000 for the 2011 campaign. A Murray-based weather observer said the system that came through early Monday was a weakening straight-line wind storm left over from the same system that hit Missouri on Sunday.
